Mine's Final Fantasy X for the PlayStation 2. I remember back in high school when I bought and played the game for the first time. It was summertime and I didn't work a summer job, so I had tons of time to kill. FFX is around a 40-50 hour game, and I think I managed to finish it all the way to the end credits in about 3 days.   It seriously had a grip on me like no other game ever. I was completely immersed in the story and couldn't let go. Even now, years later, I can still remember details about the characters, storyline, and the various items and weapons contained within that game.

10 / 10 game.

on occasions when I do play games, it has to be quick. I don't like anything that needs a lot of time commitment. I'll go with the guitar hero games.

It has to be Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. The first time I ever saw the game being played was the moment I fell in love the RPG genre. It has come a long way since then, with spin-off genres and combining with other genres to make for exciting adventures. Ocarina of Time is probably my all time favorite video game because it's a time-less classic that can be played over and over again, and never lose its awesomeness. BMB Finishes of Atlanta Georgia made a feature film based on the Ocarina of Time, and they are currently showing the film around the world, I think they are actually going to publicly release it sometime soon. You can check their website http://www.theherooftime.com for more information about the movie. Below are images of other games that come to mind when thinking about my favorite game of all time.

I remember when I bought the game I was so into it that eventually I memorized the locations of all 100 Skulltulas.

I found all 100 skulltulas 1 time, and found the use a gigantic Rupee to be somewhat useless by the time you get the last skulltula, so from that time on, I simply would get enough Skulltulas to get the heart pieces, and then wouldn't worry about the rest of them.

Yeah the giant Rupee was a big letdown for such a task.

Another let down revolving around Zelda OT, was the squeal to it. What a confusing conglomerate of randomness. Its as if they wanted to force you to buy the strategy guide just to beat the darn thing. Following Majora's Mask, they opened our eyes to a colorful new 2D-ish world of Wind Waker. Another let-down to say the least. On the brighter side, with the release of the Wii they gave us Twilight Princess, an excellent game with a twisted storyline and a 3D overworld, probably my third favorite Zelda game behind Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. After playing Twilight Princess on the Wii, I picked up a copy for the gamecube and found myself being very confused as the games are mirror images of each other, very interesting twist on the game, kudos to Miyamoto for that one.

I've never played Majora's Mask. Some gamers swear that it's better than Ocarina of Time though. I did play Twilight Princess though and loved that one.

In the 9th grade I was introduced to Everquest, and my life was never the same. Seriously tho, I've logged more hours than could possibly be counted playing EQ. I've also played Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest 2, and currently play World of Warcraft. I will say that I don't spend nearly as much time playing as I used to.

As far as a console game...Fallout 3 is the shiz. I've finished it about 6 or 7 times with an average of about 70 hours per game, I believe...The graphics are beautiful, the story is epic, and there's just so much to do.

Fallout 3 seems like Oblivion with a different skin. But I've never played it because I have a laptop.

I spent a fair amount of time destroying both GTA3 and San Andreas, GTA4 came out after I had lost interest in the series, I think I may have overplayed San Andreas, I reached 100% and continued to do random things within the game until it faded away and I lost interest. There was so much to do in San Andreas that it made for a great game, Vice City sucked, and all the "Stories" spin-offs were boring as well. I just think the idea behind the GTA games is losing it's fan base to games like Call of Duty, Halo 3, Gears of War, and other FPS games, as well as MMO's, like Ever Quest and World of Warcraft. The new thing is playing online with thousands of other people, the one-player games are falling slowly. Square Enix (Final Fantasy) is noticing this trend and it is rumored that their 14th installment in the series will be an MMORPG. Much like Final Fantasy XI, but this time hopefully they'll make it free-to-play and more FF fans may buy and play the game,
