Topic: I like to fix things. |
I don't know if you would call this a hobby, but whenever something breaks or malfunctions I like to fix it myself rather than hand it over to a professional. This is especially true with computers. I'm currently working on a 3+ year old Macbook Pro, and I've had to open it up several times for repairs like fixing the left fan and replacing the CCFL backlight. Doing these repairs on my own cost me only a fraction of what Apple would have charged me, plus I learn something new.

And another thing. It's usually never worth it to buy extended warranties, at least from my experience.
