You know I get tired of hearing the same old news about the economy or swine flu and all of those things that sound depressing in the news.

So that's why at times I indulge on celebrity gossip websites for a laugh or two. My favs are:

I read justjared too! i like how they dish celeb news without being so mean to them.

What I also like about these gossip sites are the comments. Some of these people seem to believe that they know the celebrities personally and pass these absolute statements about them. Completely crazy.

I never ever ever read those websites. I read material that I think affects my own life in some way. Knowing about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's personal lives wouldn't help me in any way. But sometimes those articles are unavoidable, since they are put on the front page of some major news sites.

My sister would know all about those gossip sites though. I'm pretty such her entire fashion sense is borrowed from what she reads.

I too read what's relevant to my life. What an actor does in his spare time is none of my business, as well as what I do in my spare time is none of his business. Personally, I wish journalists would leave celebrities alone and stop trying to tell their life stories. They're people just like you and me, they have lives of their own, I'm sure some of them enjoy the attention, Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, just to name a few. Their flaws and mistakes keep people employed, which when you think about it, is kind of sad.
