i've seen ONE episode of that show just because of all the entertainment news surrounding it, and i find it incredibly vapid. and all those jokes i hear about spencer being a douche seems to be true based on that episode.

apparently mtv like likes to make trash for people with trashy tastes.

The only time I have ever heard about any of the cast members of The Hills is during late night talk shows when the hosts would do jokes about them.

I stopped watching reality television in general a long time ago. The only exception is The Amazing Race.

i was watching conan yesterday and they had heidi montag and spencer on, and the audience completely boo-ed them.  

i've never seen audiences do that with any guest.
