Why do I always hear about oil, climate change, etc. What about population control? The only reason we demand so much oil is because there are too many people that consume the goods and services that use oil. And the only reason we are so destructive to the environment is because there's so many people to be destructive to it.

You need to jump through hoops and deal with so many hassles to get a license to drive. How about an exam and license to have children? That would be automatic population control and weed out the idiots and financially unstable. The planet is collapsing!

18 freaking kids, that's insane! I actually got kicked out of a government class for voicing my opinion about over population and how the world as a whole is just too freaking sensitive to loss. We're pack rats. We spend billions of dollars attempting to save peoples lives. We also spend a great deal on keeping murderers and those spending life sentences in jail alive, just freaking kill 'em. Catholic religion followers who most often don't believe in contraception methods are always pumping out kids. Under developed nations who lack other forms of entertainment be it radio, tv, theaters, bars, night clubs, etc... are just producing more and more children because they haven't anything else to do. People like John and Kate Goslin, the Octomom, and the Duggard family see it as a opportunity for publicity rather than an exponential increase in the population. This shows the rest of the world that if you'd like another way to get famous to add to the list of ways (i.e. Shoot somebody important, murder a mass of people, Invent something useful, pose nude for playboy, etc...) you can now add have a massive crop of children. A contributing reason to the supposed Global Warming Scam the government is trying to impose to take more of our money is that there are too many freaking people on the this dying planet. Too many people are having way too many children, and elderly people who are decrepit and have to be taken care of by two or three nurses are being provided with a limitless supply of resource just so they can breathe another days worth of life. Anyway...after explaining this to my government class of about 75 students, and refusing to stop the three times that my instructor wanted me to, I was kicked out of the class! After this many of the other students became scared of me and thought that I was a sadist and wanted to kill everyone! NOT TRUE, I just think we waste a lot of time and money keeping people alive and allowing any couple to produce as many children as they want.

Wow that sucks that you got kicked out. I would've reported it to the school's Dean and at least hear what he/she had to say about it.
