I was taught how to draw perspective views in architectural pre-requisite classes, but have since completely forgotten. I think using sketchup to model your building and exporting is much easier and accurate. I know some people say it doesn't have the hand-quality feel, but you can always trace over the export with your hand.

I noticed that during the last couple studios I had, there were still a few stragglers doing everything by hand, and in the end they did not complete all the perspectives that they wanted. People have got to keep up with technology to accelerate their development time.
