Topic: Thunderbird 3.0 solves a common emailing problem. |
I always love it when little irks about anything are solved.
Since the release of Thunderbird 3.0, there's one little feature that is really a savior. You know how with some emails you plan on attaching a file, but after you finish typing up the text you accidently hit the Send button without attaching anything? And then you have to send another email to that person and say, "Hey here's the attachment I forgot about." You know those times?
Well the people over at Mozilla apparently must have the same issues because they added a feature that detects certain key words in an email body like "attachment" or "attached" and then gives you a reminder at the bottom that you might need to attach something before you send it out.
Clever isn't it?
I think Outlook may have it too, but I don't know if it comes standard.
