...get the same sentence that a typical person convicted of that crime should get.

Sometimes when I browse around the Internet, I accidently stumble upon certain articles that really get me heated. I was reading about people who falsely accuse others of crimes they didn't commit, usually in an attempt at revenge. This is particularly common when it comes to false rape allegations, and it is a tool that women use to get back at men because they know the stigma attached to it. False allegations are also commonplace during divorce, when one person tries to lower the image of the other person so that the judge will favor custody of the kids to the accuser. This is extremely sinister.

I just cannot believe the moral compass of these people who have no grasp at the magnitude it is likely to have on the other person. Thus I believe the only way to stop such complete BS is to give these accusers the same sentence a typical person convicted of that crime should get.

I hope I never come across such dishonest people in my life.
