I thought they got it with the demise of Napster.

Here the case with many piraters: People who want to pirate something will do it. If they can't pirate it, they wouldn't buy it anyways, so theoretically there is no loss.

And piracy sites are published all the time. Just Google any song and add "mp3" at the end of it. Chances are it'll link you to a site to download it for free. And there are movie sites that link you to recently released movies (without needing to torrent anything). It's just everywhere.

Maybe the entertainment industry should focus more on releasing great content so that people would be more compelled to pay for it.
