I get a headache everytime I read Youtube comments. It's like a cesspool of ignorance, racism, prejudice, stereotypes and general hate. Which is why I now hide all comments by default.

I realize that because of its popularity, there inevitably are people mixed in there who just love to hate, and they end up ruining the comments for everyone else. Unbelievable.

There are some very disturbing comments on Youtube, which is why I most often ignore them completely. It's as if constructive criticism has been thrown out the window and replaced with insults and vulgarity. Kind of boring when all the comments refer to the video poster as a homo, or a fag. Those 2-cent comments are typically irrelevant and have no bearing what so ever on the information contained in the video. People no longer have nice things to say, "It's all about fast cars and cussing each other," to quote Lily Allen
