we all like a good story right?

it's gotta be either oprah or jk rowling. oprah grew up poor, black, a female, and was even told by her employer that she was too homely to be on tv and then sent her to a beauty salon to get a makeover!

and jk rowling had to deal with being a single mother on welfare. and when she did finish the first harry potter book, she couldn't secure a publisher for over a year.

i applaud both these women for being able to rise above adversity to become global icons.

I hope all of the publishers that turned down JK are feeling pretty stupid right now!

Hindsight is 20/20. I don't think anyone could've predicted how successful the Harry Potter franchise was going to be.

Same is the case with the Twilight books.

twilight is so bad. i apologize on behalf of my gender for making it so popular.

jk rowling is a much better writer.

Twilight is like relationship porn for tweens.
