Topic: My fridge goes empty too often. |
I'm one of those people that makes frequent trips to the grocery store and uses those one-handed baskets to do my shopping. I could never understand why I don't buy food using a shopping cart. I think it's because I think a lot of it will spoil, so by buying one basket at a time, I ensure that I won't throw any food away.

I do the same thing...I'm only one person, so why buy a bunch of food at a time? The majority of the items purchased would more than likely spoil before I was ready to eat them. I buy food for about a week at a time, and it's usually just enough to get me through the week, by the end of the week I'm typically throwing random leftovers together and eating them. Then it's back to the store for another batch of groceries for the next week, The best part is, it's usually right around 30 dollars each trip, making it roughly 120 dollars a month to feed myself, also, none of it gets thrown away which is an added benefit to shopping often and buying smaller quantities of food.
