Remember the UI that Tom Cruise used to navigate the screen? The film was released eight years ago in 2002. Although we don't have hologaphic screens yet, at least we have hand and finger gestures, like on the iPhone. There are also others in R&D working to bring this to standard, a true large touchscreen:
