I was raised by a single mother and she's very traditional and orthodox with everything. She's not strict and allowed me to do many things because I think she trusted that I always understood what I was doing and was always on top of things. She also very risk-adverse. So when I told her about my project (MajorIndulgence), she was skeptical on how I was using up my time. She feels more secure about me if I have a full-time job (which I do).

I have no kids, so the second question doesn't apply to me.
