Topic: I found a free scanner on craigslist. |
People are so quick to give up.
When I asked the guy why he's just giving it away, he said that he couldn't get the software to work properly. So I take it and bring it home with me, did a little software troubleshooting, and got it to work.
It's big and clunky, heavy and slow, but it works and scans at good quality. YEAH!

Sometimes I discover all kinds of great things for free/cheap on that site. The only problem is that craigslist is so heavily trafficked that you have to act on those listings very very quickly or else it goes to someone else.
