People usually hear the phrase: "9 to 5"

Well, in Seattle it's a little different. We have to add an hour to our work days because lunch isn't paid and isn't part of the 8-hour work day.

It doesn't help that my commute to work is around 45 minutes, so total time is actually 10 hours and 30 minutes.

Ugh.
