Recently I noticed a water spot on my ceiling that was a result of a construction defect in the piping systems (therefore invisible to me). It was there from the very beginning, and the HOA commissioned the repairs.

Afterwards, I got billed around $1,400 for it. Currently I'm trying to get the construction company (Graham Construction) to admit fault and pay for the costs. But I suspect that they're trying to filibuster themselves out of it.

And as for HOA, instead of trying to urge on Graham to pay for it, they're just awaiting payment from me instead. What a shitty experience this has all become.

Now my mother, who's helping me with this, called the CEO of the construction company and he said that after 6 years, the warranty expires.

It's now off to the Attorney General's Office.
