Topic: Why do people speak in 3rd person on their official websites? |
Especially on the About page?
Do they want to seem important and give the impression that another person created the website for them, as in a fan page? If in fact, the website is a fan page, then I understand the 3rd person talk, but otherwise it should all be 1st person.
