There are so many award shows leading up to the Academy Awards that it completely spoils who will win. The Academy should really attempt to make a deal with all the other awards and assimilate everything into one.

All the major categories except for one (best director) were expected wins.

I can see why a lot of people call the Oscars a snooze fest, and the two hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway didn't help either. Comedians are better suited as hosts.
