So I was crawling around Craigslist seeing if anyone had some simple and interesting web work. I'm already employed full-time, but sometimes I like to take on a side job.

Eventually, I found someone who wanted a resume/portfolio website. I replied to the ad with around 3 paragraphs worth of text, including my hourly rate.

A couple days later I get a reply back, and guess what the email said? She was asking what my rate was. Seriously, do people even read more than 2 sentences? Do I really have to dumb it down?

In conclusion: Learn. To. Read.
