I heard this on the last episode of Real Time with Bill Maher and had to Google it to read more. Some studies are discovering huge percentages of grads who cannot afford to live off on their own. It's a reflection of the current economy, the deterioration of the American education system, and the diminishing value of a college degree.

It makes me wonder how many kids these days are just going to college because "it's just something that you do", rather than going because of necessity (to learn a skill that can only be taught within an institution). All you young people who are employed right now...at least that's one less major thing that you don't have to worry about in life.
