An often talked about aspect of architectural studio is the large amount of time it consumes (often far beyond the expected time commitment). It is easily the most difficult and labor-intensive class every term, and may result in working into the night or even pulling all-nighters when projects are approaching deadlines. However, the stress is somewhat lessened by the camaraderie shared within each studio. Students commonly socialize with each other and also critique each other's work. It is generally considered a very supportive atmosphere.
